Welcome to La Pierre Saint-Martin, where the mountains of Béarn and the Basque Country meet. On the doorstep of Spain, the resort unfolds its rocky landscapes and snow-covered forests for an experience that blends thrills and nature.
Everything is here: skiing and snowboarding, adventure, wide-open spaces and breathtaking views of the Pyrenean peaks. This winter, the resort is betting on adrenaline as much as on escape.
It hosts the VTT on Ice Trophy on 14 March 2027 and invites the curious to take on the Adventurer Mission in the Braca forest. For a peaceful stay, the brand-new Domaine Lapedagne opens its doors in Arette!

On Sunday 14 March 2027, La Pierre Saint-Martin hosts a first-of-its-kind event in the Pyrenees: the VTT on Ice Trophy. This stage of the Pyrénées Ice Series is also held in Gourette.
The concept: a timed mountain-bike descent on snow, also known as snow biking. The event is organised by EPSA in partnership with the La Lobot association. It’s open to seasoned competitors and experienced amateurs alike who want to enjoy a unique experience on exceptional winter terrain.
A timed descent on the Arlas sector
Thrills, adrenaline and spectacle in an outstanding mountain setting: the race promises to be spectacular, for riders and spectators alike!
- The course: riders set off one by one on the Arlas sector.
- A dedicated sector: it is reserved entirely for the competition, ensuring safety, a smooth-running race and fairness between riders.
- The challenge: the clock tests technical skill, speed and the ability to handle the snow.
