Yes! Aquensis welcomes children from the age of 5. It’s a perfect family activity after a day out walking. Please note that minors must be accompanied by an adult at all times, and access to the hammam, saunas and treatments is reserved for guests aged 16 and over.

Two hours is the perfect amount of time to enjoy the lagoon, the aqua-music pool, and finish with a mint tea without rushing.

For pool access, booking is not mandatory but is strongly recommended, especially during school holidays or winter weekends.
For treatments and massages, we recommend booking at least one week in advance to secure your preferred time slot under the stunning wooden structure.

Of course. In fact, it’s the favourite alternative for non-skiers at Grand Tourmalet. Aquensis is located right in the centre of Bagnères-de-Bigorre. You can leave the rest of your group on the slopes in La Mongie and enjoy a relaxing afternoon in the valley.

Bagnères-de-Bigorre offers several free car parks close to the centre (Place des Thermes or the Casino car park). Everything is designed so your relaxation begins as soon as you arrive in town.

Aquensis reviews

Your peaceful haven in Vallée de l'Adour

A magnificent place, a beautiful building with impressive architecture and very friendly staff. For me, the highlights are the rooftop terrace with its dreamy, ever-changing light between sun and clouds, and the hammam, which is simply outstanding.

Jean-Luc

I truly enjoyed it and would highly recommend it without hesitation. A thermal spa with perfectly heated water, a great pool and a full range of treatments, all set within a stunning cathedral-like wooden structure.

Jany

A splendid place with bold architecture, where you can enjoy both the thermal waters and the building itself.

Jean-Charles

Sauna, jacuzzi, hammam and a pool with various jets, all filled with pure warm thermal water in a calm, family-friendly atmosphere. The little extra: music. Just put your ears under the water and let yourself drift to jazz melodies. A real treat. A moment to share.

Cathy

A pleasant and relaxing thermal spa centre, especially after a day of skiing. Treatments are available (some using mud).

Jean-Marc

A very peaceful place, perfect for unwinding after a long week of work, with reasonable prices. You have access to the hammam, jacuzzi, a large central pool, a pool with underwater music and different water jets, as well as two hot spas at 70°C and 90°C.
