Booking Cancellation Insurance
The purpose of the “N’PY PLACE DE MARCHE” insurance is to reimburse the Insured for the expenses related to the cancellation of their ski trip.
The insurance guarantees full or partial reimbursement of booked services such as: accommodation, equipment rental, ski passes, ski lessons, various tickets (access to leisure areas, transport tickets, après-ski activities)
Cancellation due to:
A temporary or permanent incapacity
Insufficient or excessive snow cover
Inability to access the resorts for a period longer than 24 hours
Cancellation or change by the Insured’s employer of the paid vacation dates
A serious illness (including serious illness resulting from an epidemic or pandemic declared within 30 days prior to departure)
A serious bodily injury accident or death
Serious illness (including serious illness resulting from an epidemic or pandemic declared within 30 days prior to departure)
Serious material damage to his main residence.

Denial of boarding following a temperature check of the Beneficiary/Insured upon arrival at the departure airport
Coverage is limited to €6,500 per person per claim and €32,000 per event. A 10% deductible is applicable in the case of illness related to an epidemic or pandemic
Criminal convictions involving the Insured
Damage resulting from the Insured’s consumption of alcohol and/or drugs or narcotics not medically prescribed
Restrictions on the free movement of persons and goods, airport closures, border closures
Damage occurring before the subscription of this contract
Consequences, aftereffects, complications, or aggravations of an illness or bodily injury identified before the booking of the insured service
Natural disasters
Any covered event occurring between the date of booking of the insured service and the date of subscription of this contract
The cancellation guarantee does not cover the inability to travel due to border closures, material organization, accommodation conditions, or safety of the destination
The guarantees apply in metropolitan France and in neighbouring countries provided that they are directly accessible by ski lifts located in metropolitan France, with the exception of countries listed by the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs as being in a state of civil or foreign war, of notorious political instability, suffering reprisals, restrictions on the free movement of persons and goods for whatever reason, including health, security, meteorological, countries suffering acts of terrorism, having suffered natural disasters or nuclear disintegration as well as countries suffering any other case of force majeure.
Upon signing the contract
The Insured is required to pay the premium.
In the event of a claim
The Insured must, under penalty of forfeiture of coverage, except in cases of unforeseen circumstances or force majeure:
Report the claim within fifteen (15) business days of becoming aware of it to the Insurer and provide the Insurer with all documents and supporting evidence necessary for the implementation of the coverage.
The contribution is payable immediately upon subscription of the contract when purchasing the N’PY PLACE DE MARCHE share.
Coverage begins
Cancellation insurance takes effect from the date of purchase of the N’PY PLACE DE MARCHE card and upon its first use.
Coverage ends
Cancellation insurance automatically expires at the end of the card's validity period.
You can report a claim
By logging into the insurer's website at the following address: https://montagne.wtwco.com/?dashboard=npy
You can terminate the contract.
Cancellation: The insured may cancel the contract within 14 calendar days from the date of conclusion of the contract (Articles L112-19 and L112-10 of the French Insurance Code).
It should be noted that the insured may no longer exercise their right of cancellation if the contract has been fully performed or if they have reported a covered claim to the insurer during this period.
